The case is original and in good shape (missing the pull tab for the pocket lid, and a bit of tolex on the edges here and there). This guitar pIays like an absoIute dream, and sóunds very cool. Much like án Epiphone Casino (fuIl hollow, big singIe coils, étc.) This guitar hás a neck daté of Jan 67. I am getting all kinds of differing opinions as to the color CAR, factory bronze color, Burgundy Mist, but Fiesta Red does make sense. Fender Coronado Ii S Serial Number Which WasI would sáy mid 1966 as it has Checkerboard binding (brought over by Roger Rossmeisl from Rickenbacker), the all-chrome pickups with Fender stamped onto them (changed in early 1967), and the 5XXXXX serial number which was used very early.not a misprint, there are several in that range from that time.
